All Jefferson County Public Schools, including preschools, will be closed March 19 due to the number of teachers planning to attend the Colorado Education Association March on the Capitol that day.
The number of staff who will be absent has extended beyond the number of guest teachers, according to an e-mail from Jeffco Schools. Although students will not be present, it will be a regular workday for district employees.
