Oranges conduct more electricity than lemons and potatoes, Borax makes better slime, and coffee stains teeth more than tea or cola.

Who knows these interesting tidbits? The students competing in the Mountain Area Science Fair.

The work of 118 student scientists in second through sixth grade from eight schools was displayed Saturday at Evergreen Country Day School, and families stopped in to see the projects. ECDS, and Parmalee, Marshdale, West Jefferson, Wilmot, King-Murphy, Carlson and The Bergens elementary schools participated.
