Clear Creek officials have announced that a county resident has tested positive for COVID-19.
Denver Public Health informed the county Friday that the person, who contracted the coronavirus from outside the county and has mild symptoms, and is self-quarantining with their spouse at their residence. Clear Creek Public Health and other county officials are monitoring the situation, the county said in a press release Friday afternoon.

Third Clear Creek resident tests positive for COVID-19
As of 4 p.m. Saturday, state health department data shows a third person in Clear Creek County has tested positive for COVID-19.
The county confirmed its first case on March 13, and a second was confirmed by Clear Creek staff during a March 19 special meeting with the county commissioners.
