Student artists and their families are thrilled and honored to have their work displayed in Center for the Arts Evergreen’s “Emerging Artists” show.

Nearly 140 pieces of artwork from 13 foothills schools — elementary through high school — are on display through April 10. This is the first year in the history of the CAE student art show that middle-schoolers’ and elementary students’ work has joined the work of the four area high schools.

Each school is showing up to 10 pieces of art that includes mosaics, photos, charcoal, paintings, 3D and ceramics.

The schools involved in the show are Evergreen, Conifer, Platte Canyon and Clear Creek high schools; West Jeff, Evergreen and Clear Creek middle schools; Wilmot, Marshdale, Elk Creek and The Bergens elementary schools; Montessori School of Evergreen and Rocky Mountain Academy of Evergreen.
