Two additional COVID-19 cases have been confirmed in Jefferson County, bringing the county's total to six.
The cases affect individuals whose ages range from in their 30s to in their 70s. Some were exposed during international travel, while other cases are still under investigation.
As the numbers undoubtedly increase, Jeffco Public Health plans to stop sending out press releases with each confirmed case and will instead post updates online at

Thirteen COVID-19 cases confirmed in mountain area
Of 130 COVID-19 cases in Jefferson County, 13 are in Evergreen or the surrounding unincorporated mountain community, according to new information released by Jeffco Public Health.
In all, there are 130 confirmed, probable or suspected cases in Jefferson County as of Wednesday. The first case in Jeffco was confirmed on March 10.
Jeffco Public Health announced its first coronavirus-related death on Wednesday, and that number has since jumped to four. Seventeen people have been hospitalized. Despite the jump in numbers, the governor and public health officials continue to maintain that the actual number is much higher than what’s been confirmed due to a lack of testing.
