Before Colorado Gov. Jared Polis’ stay-at-home order was issued on March 25, many from the metro area found a semblance of spring break in Clear Creek Canyon.
Whether it was rock-climbing, fishing or walking, those visiting the Tunnel 5 Oxbow Trailhead area seemed to be following state health orders by physically distancing themselves from others. Rock-climbing groups and fishers were several yards apart, if not more, and walkers kept to opposite sides of the 10-foot-wide path as they passed each other.
