Indian Hills Community Center sign plays a role in 80th birthday celebration

Bob Bilderback’s birthday began and ended just as those who know him best predicted: with a good, old-fashioned pirate pun.


“Where did the pirate get his hook? Ask Bob B! He turns 80 today!”

Last Friday, for just a few short minutes, that message made an appearance on the Indian Hills Community Center sign. The punch line, of course, is that the pirate bought his hook at the secondhand store. It’s a joke that Bilderback, a Lakewood resident, loves, and it’s not far off from the messages Vince Rozmiarek typically shares on his now nationally known sign.
