Ceri Evans isn’t your average athlete. No Ninja is.
The Kittredge resident and Evergreen High School freshman has never fit into a typical youth athletics box. Instead, she soared above the rest as a competitive climber. That talent eventually led the 14-year-old to American Ninja Warrior Junior, which she competed in last July in Los Angeles.
Her episode airs Friday at 4 p.m. on the Universal Kids Channel.
Ninja, a sport that revolves around parkour, combines the upper body fitness of a climber with the agility of an obstacle course. With it, Evans got to combine her two biggest strengths as she competed against 13 and 14 year olds from all across the country.
