Several residents have begun picking up trash along Evergreen Parkway, and they hope their efforts will inspire others to do the same.
They don’t want to organize trash-pickup days; they just want people to pick up after themselves and others.
“I don’t want to organize the community,” said Gabrielle, who declined to give her last name but said she works at Keys on the Green, so everyone knows her. “I do what I can when I can.” She wants everyone to pick up trash, adding, “It’s not our trash, but it’s our town.”
