Georgetown Community School teachers mark end-of-year with parade

Because they hadn’t seen their students in-person since mid-March, Georgetown Community School teachers rolled in style Thursday afternoon to see their students one last time before the school year ended.

GCS teachers and families marked the last day of the 2019-20 academic year with a parade down Sixth and Taos streets, concluding at City Park. About a dozen vehicles, including local first responder agencies, participated as students and their families lined the sidewalks with signs and smiles.
