Returning to his roots: Spiroff launches Conifer Radio

Mark Spiroff will never forget the first time he walked into the music library at the radio station at Montana State University. The walls were covered with shelves of vinyl records.


“I was a kid in a candy shop,” Spiroff said.

Spiroff, who moved to his home off Doubleheader Ranch Road in Morrison in 2003, has been enthralled with radio since the days when he listened to a “tinny, scratchy” AM radio in his childhood home.

Good luck Mark! I love radio. I was also a college radio DJ. I fought to get our station to play the New Wave of the 80's instead of the classic rock of the 70's.
