Cabin Creek Brewing
Georgetown has a new eatery after long-awaited Cabin Creek Brewing opened its doors last month.
The brewery has 24 taps, including five guest taps for other local breweries. Head brewer and co-owner Patrick Toland said he’s proud of the Pounder, a Czech-style pilsner that’s brewed in wood, noting that Cabin Creek is one of few places in Colorado brewing that kind of beer in wood.
On the food side, Kerr described the menu as “mountain fare with an Italian flair,” with hand-tossed pizza, sandwiches and burgers.
Guanella Pass Brewery now operating Hard Rock Café
Folks frequenting Winter Park and Grand Lake can now buy a Guanella Pass beer without leaving U.S. 40.
On April 27, Empire’s Hard Rock Café opened again with Georgetown’s Guanella Pass Brewery as its operator. The restaurant offers an espresso bar and pastries for breakfast, Detroit-style pizza, wings and salads for lunch and dinner, along with Guanella Pass craft beers on tap and to-go.
