Democrats Heidi McCollum and Braden Angel are on the June 30 Democratic primary ballot. They are seeking to succeed Bruce Brown, who has been the district attorney for eight years. Both want to take the reins of the district that includes Clear Creek, Lake, Eagle and Summit counties.
