Platte Canyon students enjoy unique 'after-prom' event at Treehouse Adventure Pa

The Platte Canyon High School juniors and seniors may not have ended the school year in a traditional way, but one thing was apparent: They’d take a morning at Bailey’s Treehouse Adventure Park over a conventional prom any day.


Students acknowledged it was challenging to end their school year — and for many, their high school career — in the middle of a pandemic that forced them to stay at home. But those bad feelings were fleeting, quickly replaced by the thrill of soaring through the trees for a unique “after-prom” celebration at their hometown aerial adventure park.

“This is probably better than prom. I love this place,” recent graduate Trinity MacArthur said.
