The detour around Evergreen Lake while the new north trail is built starting later this year will likely be in place for four months.
One lane of traffic will be blocked, and the detour still is expected to take northbound traffic through downtown Evergreen and onto Meadow Drive to get to Evergreen Parkway, while southbound traffic will drive on the remaining open lane next to the lake.
