Alderfer/3 Sisters improvements

The Jeffco Planning Commission unanimously recommended approval of the plan to expand the lot at the west trailhead to 116 spaces, which will include parking for oversized vehicles and equestrian trailers. Construction is expected to be completed next year.

Conifer Center at Kitty Drive

A rezoning proposal for a six-acre property on Kitty Drive in Conifer has now gotten the nod from the Planning Commission after the owner made changes to mitigate concerns from neighbors and commissioners.

The new plan, which was presented at the Dec. 8 meeting, would make commercial and light industrial uses the primary development on the land with outdoor storage only making up a small portion of the area. The proposal will go to the county commissioners for a final decision on Jan. 18.
