Is there any way, or have you already posted it and I missed it, to make them all easily available at the time of posting?

Thanks!

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Hey jf! Unfortunately, not all of them, no. Otherwise that box right above the Reply/Dialog Box that has some emoticons showing would be HUGE and push the Reply box right below the screen view - we've got over 400 emoticons uploaded to the server at the moment and more yet to add. We try to switch them out regularly to keep it fresh, seasonal, appropriate for upcoming holidays, and remind us all of ones we may have forgotten about, but we were trying to not have that box get overwhelming, especially with some of the emoticons being quite a bit larger in size. The only thing we can recommend is what we do: have a 2nd tab open to this thread so we can scroll through and highlight, copy, and paste the bbcode underneath the desired emoticon.

Do you all think a 3rd row of emoticons would be okay to display? Keep in mind that many people like to access the site on their mobile devices (it's still much fewer than desktop usage, but significant numbers) so we don't want to make their screens all emoticons. :) If there are ever any that you would like to request, please let us know - we're happy to oblige!

Thanks, SC!

I understand the concern about the number of emoticons and the space required to display them all. What I was wondering is whether it might be possible to create, without modifying the base code, either a dropdown or popup list that could be accessed while creating a post, but would not require a 2nd tab.

LOL, you know me, I'm always trying to push the envelope, and make it more 'challenging' ;).

Thanks for all you do!

Hmm, I hadn't considered that - I like it! I'll ask the developer (but it'll probably have to wait until after the holidays...lots to do between now and then).

Thanks!

The thing about pictures and memes is that you usually have to shrink them down to a point that the resolution makes them unreadable if we are to make them small enough to list above the Dialog Box. We can certainly upload them and give them a bbcode like all of our emoticons here, but it may be just as quick to upload the photo or meme when you wish to use it as it is to look up the bbcode here. We'll give it a try shrinking them and add them if we are successful; thank you for the suggestions!
