We've gotten a few questions on this one point, so we thought it would be helpful to address this here. If you've gone to the
Join here/Registration
page and gotten to the part asking for an Invite Code and stopped wondering if you needed to ask for one, please know you can disregard that part of the form. It is something that we cannot remove from the default form on the page, but it isn't required to register, just skip right over it. Here are the sections you do need to fill in:
Click the 'Accept Terms and Conditions' circle, then hit Register!
You should
receive an automated email with a link that will allow you to activate your account yourself - no waiting around for hours to weeks for an admin to activate your account for you (vitally important if you've just lost your pet and time is of the essence), you can get started immediately!
If you don't receive an email shortly after registering, please email or call us; it's happened before that people have accidentally put a typo in their email address so it gets bounced back to us, and we can fix that if you let us know what it should have been (sometimes it's easy to figure out the typo and email you proactively, sometimes we can't guess and we have no way to contact you otherwise).
Now, if you are a
Business
or a
Nonprofit
and are registering, the form will look a little different. You'll see our advertising packages listed above the form, just scroll through those to get to the form, then you'll enter all the same info except for one added field for your Business or Nonprofit Name - that should add you to our
Local Online Business & Nonprofit Directory
with a free listing. If you do select one of the Business or Nonprofit Advertising Packages for additional marketing visibility, it will give you a message asking for payment once you are registered, please disregard that - we haven't set up automatic payments directly on the website yet (coming later!). Please give us a call to arrange credit card payment over the phone (don't email your credit card information please, it is not secure). Then send us an email with your logo and advertising information so we can get you started!
