MyMountainTown created the topic: My Mountain Town Expert Local Weather Page 28 Jun 2016 19:11 #1

We're thrilled to announce that our brand new custom interactive radar map has been added to our Expert Weather Forecast Page! In addition to accurate, twice-daily updated forecasts from certified Chief Meteorologist Steve Hamilton specifically tailored for our mountain towns of: Morrison | Conifer | Evergreen | Pine | Bailey | Fairplay | Jefferson-Como | Alma, you can now better see the storms headed our way and plan ahead. The map is centered over Colorado, but you can use the plus/minus button to zoom in and out to your city (or pinch with your fingers on a mobile device) and see weather storms headed your way. Click the Play button to see the storm tracking. The Alert button will display where there are any Severe Warnings that are in effect and you can click those icons that pop up on the map for further details. The thermometer button will display current temps when you toggle that on, below that is wind direction, Storm Reports, and Storm Tracks.

New page: mymountaintown.com/expert-local-weather You can also access it by hovering over the "Weather & Traffic" menu option at the top and selecting 'Expert Local Weather' from the drop-down menu, or by clicking on the Expert Weather button on the Home Page .

With this upgrade, we had to change a few things on the site. The biggest being that the page now has a new name so if you had the old 'Super Local Weather' page bookmarked, you'll need to re-save this 'Expert Local Weather' Page in your bookmarks. If you have any trouble accessing the site or that page, please try closing down your browser (Firefox seems to be having the most issues, just FYI) and re-opening it. You may have to sign back into MyMountainTown.com or clear your cache (be careful not to clear your bookmarks, but if you have multiple tabs open on a mobile device, save or bookmark them as you might need to go into Settings, choose Safari or whatever your browser is, then clear your history and website data).
