Actually, the video doesn't load simply because it's embedded. The only thing that loads is one frame of the video -- the image. The actual video doesn't start loading until you press start. It's no different (in download size) than a regular image posted in the thread.

It is difficult for those with fast connections to understand what is seen by those with much slower connections.

We slowpokes just have to put up with it :wink:

What do you consider slow DSL?

Download Speed: 1330 kbps (166.3 KB/sec transfer rate)
Upload Speed: 750 kbps (93.8 KB/sec transfer rate)

Three of us use the DSL line in the house and it seems adequate. Could have higher but don't want to spend the money.
