Based upon the number of smoke investigation calls, it is very widespread. All smoke investigations so far have been drift smoke from the Snyder Creek fire.

Park County Undersheriff Monty Gore says no homes have been evacuated, but they are evacuating hikers and campers in the area. He says the Twin Combs Subdivision is on standby to evacuate.

Authorities say the fire is burning in the Lost Creek area of the Pike National Forest.

Deborah Hammel says she was hiking with her family above Kenosha Pass when they noticed smoke and flames.
