I have been lurking for a while on 285 Bound and I figured it was time to get an account and start making some posts. Looking forward to exchanging jokes, opinions, and other information with you all!

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Welcome otis! We're glad to have you here and are always in more need of laughs, love additional viewpoints, and can't get enough information! (Well, at least I can't get enough info!)

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

I'm honored that you chose to add on to my original post to introduce yourself to everyone! I'm still a newbie here but I welcome you to this site, it's a nice departure from that other site. You can say exactly what you mean here and if you need to post something controversial or something that requires language that would likely offend others you can post it in the Ring.

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.
