I will try and get a pic sometime today. Sounds like it is from the fires down south.

We were on Mt Evens taking pictures today and you could smell the smoke. I talked to a ranger and he said that it was from fires in Arizons / New Mexico. It was strong enough up there that my eyes burned.

Sailors may not be around a lot of wildfires :wink: , but my mother and grandmother taught me that saying, and AFAIK their only sailing experience was immigrating here. Of course, sailing is somewhat in the blood of Finns :)

In my experience the red at night is nearly always right, the red in the morn may be affected by other influences.
