Movies in the meadow

Looks like that the first movie will be tomorrow or Saturday I have not seen them advertise.

While I think it is a cool thing I do have friends that live very close by that are worried about the noise. They are pretty easy going so as long as things actually wrap up by 10:00 which is what they were told all should be good.

If anyone goes please post your comments good or bad.

The screen to me looked a little small but it could be because the field is so big.

Go to Journeyfoothills.com and click on the Movies in the Meadow. Some great movies. Friday starting at 6:30 and the movie at 8 is Iron Man 2, next week is True Grit, then the last Harry Potter, Secretariat,(sp?) then Megamind, then Rango. Should be a fun place to go to locally with friends without a lot of driving.

It's free, and they are offering free popcorn and lemonade. It's sponsored by The Journey Church, the same people who run the Angry Llama.

Things start at 6:30pm, the movie starts about 8pm. Bring lawn chairs or blankets...

The only thing I can't find is if we can bring coolers with food and drink. And is alcohol allowed out there?

Run by a church, showing children's movies? I'm going to guess the answer to alcohol is a big NO.

6My only comment is why did they feel they had to chop down all the willows? Really, why? So everyone could see their movie screen from Hwy 73? That's what I'm guessing, but does anyone know?
