Just got to thinking about this last night. My office is on the 3rd floor and I almost always take the stairs instead of the elevator. Just curious at what point do you take the elevator over the stairs.
Personally I will normally take the stairs if it is 3 flights up or less. If it is 4 or more I will take the elevator.
We have to take the elevator in our building. The doors from the stairs to the floors are locked except on the first floor. And I never have my key with me. But we can make it up on the elliptical in the workout room.
On second thought I think it comes down to a matter of time.
Than again I haven't worn a watch in almost 3 years, NO need. Took it off when I went to visit daughter in Maui, and never missed it...
This is a matter of how I feel. Take Denver airport access to the train. If I'm tired the escalator will suffice. If loaded with baggage, elevator is a must. Conditions vary. If it's just me, I almost always take the stairs at a trot for the exercise, even as I've gotten older. Now days my cut off is 5 floors.
