(sorry I was posting at same time that nobody that matters was... GMTA!)

here ya go....you can look up your well use permit or your neighbor's

I dug out our closing documents to our well use permit number and typed it in. We have a domestic use permit

Thank you for the information and links.

I confirmed that it was a household use only using the links above before posting.

And yes the neighbors know they aren't supposed to be using the water but they figure since they are at the end of a culdesac that nobody will see them. From another part time neighbor's home on another road with a very good view he watched them waste water for hours and brought it to other neighbor's attention.

Interesting that those who do have a domestic well tend to be very conservative in their water usage while this family just wastes it when they shouldn't be using it at all. So many have gone into foreclosure in this area and homes empty, maybe they are headed that direction too and don't care?

Perhaps you can video or photograph them, catching them in the act? I cannot see how you would prove it otherwise, since there is no metering.

The neighbor with a good view on another road has already taken pictures/video.

We will contact Denver Water.

Denver Water won't care.

You'll need to go to the state - they're tasked with enforcement.

Boy, I am glad that we have neighbors that talk and are friends and don't need/want to bust one another to the man

You are right Nobody That Matters. We just learned that from Denver Water. Can't be bothered and couldn't tell us who is the appropriate party to contact. Thank you for the link.

It is unfortunate when neighbors have been told it is illegal and that they hurt other well owners and they don't care.
