Uhh I saw the neighbor's video and pictures and since they do it so frequently, waste water, all the neighbors have seen it, including me.

Hmmm let me guess, 500 Foundation you that neighbor or something?

I know Mtntrekker when we lived in the Burland area that our well only pumped 0.53 gallons per minute and we had to have 2 HUGE water tanks inside to accomodate our needs. We didn't water outside and when the IDIOTS next door decided to fill their above ground pool it only took about 10 days and a BUNCH of dead critters floating before they drained it... To my knowledge they never filled it again..

Don't get your hopes up...
IF I was your neighbor I would have already discussed this with you open and honest
like real decent folk do instead of sneaking around taking pictures or video

With all do respect......the TOS has been thrown in the toilet a couple of times on this page.
Maybe there is a better venue to air this problem? Just asking.

Thanks for the info which has been passed onto the neighbor, and now neighbors who asked for the information. He and the neighbors can do with it whatever they choose to do.

I confirmed that it was a household use only using the links above before posting.

And yes the neighbors know they aren't supposed to be using the water but they figure since they are at the end of a culdesac that nobody will see them. From another part time neighbor's home on another road with a very good view he watched them waste water for hours and brought it to other neighbor's attention.

Interesting that those who do have a domestic well tend to be very conservative in their water usage while this family just wastes it when they shouldn't be using it at all. So many have gone into foreclosure in this area and homes empty, maybe they are headed that direction too and don't care?

It does not sound like you have talked with them and thus are making lots of assumptions. If after talking to them you discover they are ignorant of the water usage, water problems or if they could give a royal, then you can choose whatever path you wish to take. Perhaps all they need is enlightenment. Then again perhaps they need to feel a BIG stick.

I just find life is more pleasant when I don't watch my neighbors.
