Summary
Between Feb. 20 and Feb. 26, the Park County Sheriff’s Office responded to two animal control calls, 114 citizen assist calls, nine paper services, 45 traffic stops and three welfare checks. Calls totaled 173.

Golden student loses handcuff keys. On Jan. 31, Golden Police responded to a call from the Free Horizon School, 581 Conference Place, Golden. A student came to school in handcuffs. Police tried some handcuff keys without success. The fire department arrived and cut off the handcuffs. No one was injured.
Facebook message angers girlfriend. On Jan. 26, Golden Police went to the 1400 block of Utah Street, Golden. The caller said she could hear people arguing and a pounding noise and a woman crying. Police questioned a couple who said they’d been arguing. The man said his girlfriend found a message from a previous girlfriend on his Facebook page. The man said there were no physical threats.
