Air Tankers Requested For RMNP Fire
Blaze Breaks Out Near Mount Dickinson

ESTES PARK, Colo. -- Four air tankers and six to eight smoke jumpers have been requested for a 3- to 5-acre fire was burning in Rocky Mountain National Park Thursday afternoon.
The park service said the fire was located one mile south of 11,814-foot Mount Dickinson, six miles west of Glen Haven.
The fire could be seen from Estes Park and was reported around 1 p.m. The location was determined from aerial surveillance.
