Tonight we are having chicken fried stuffed chicken breast with jack cheese and broccoli....Sadly, no pan gravy.

How about some CFS, white pan gravy, biscuits, and a couple scrambled eggs? That's a breakfast for four!

The meal I had at the Ameristar I mentioned earlier was breakfast... the chicken fried steak covered the entire plate. The hash browns were underneath.

There is an art to cooking white cream gravy from scratch......this opinion comes from a natural born Texan who can give anyone a run for their money on cooking an authentic chicken fried steak.

Who knew?
I missed the holiday by 2 days.
Made CFS with white gravy, from-scratch mashed potatoes & corn for dinner on Monday evening. Used bacon fat as well!
I'll mark the calendar for next year!
