Gmail problems

Gmail problems was created by LopingAlong

So I'm running IE 8, which is a supported browser and right in the middle oreading emails, Gmail shuts down, goes away and now I can't get back in. Anyone know what I should do to have my email accessible? Thank you in advance!

I'm not using the same application or platform you are LopingAlong, but am having my own e-mail issues. I'm currently experiencing problems with sending e-mails using earthlink. E-mail comes in but sending out messages has not worked for me the past two days. If I go online I can get them to go out but barely.

LopingAlong..

IE8 has known compatibility issues with gmail and yahoo mail....I would suggest going back to IE7 for now until these issues are worked out..

You might try running IE8 in no add-ons mode, also check to see if Internet Protected Mode is enabled...If it is try turning it off..

Proof I really, really do need an eye checkup - I read the title of the thread as "genital problems" _ had to look twice to see the right title!
