The store inside was not bad but I decided to park on the side of the building to avoid the big traffic and someone parked so close to me that I could not get in my car. Boy that made me mad, that has never happened to me before.
And then I get home and some neighbor or neighbor's friend parked in front of my house where my snow was cleared for my guests today. I am trying to give them all the benefit of the doubt but I am annoyed.
I like to leave notes on peoples car. "Dear Jacka$$, the next time you forget how to park your car please leave me a crowbar so I can get into mine easier. SORRY FOR THE SCRATCHES."
Well the mysterious person that parked in front of my house showed up from 3 houses away and I told her I had company coming she was a jerk and gave me a dirty look then someone just parked in my neighbor' s spot across the street in the place that he cleared. Some of my neighbor's never shovel, I would have to say about 50% don't, then park in our shoveled spots.

Sorry for some reason this is making me mad.
You shoveled out a spot on a public street and didn't block the spot and then expect people to read your mind?
It is a public street, and people can park anywhere they want. Sorry this isn't the answer you wanted.

I was not looking for an answer. Just making conversation. LOL I am over it.
You know I do get upset when people don't shovel down here that are able bodied. If they understood how hard it is for the kids to walk to school in 18" of snow and there is an ordinance that you have to shovel your walk within 24 hours. It is not just a few that don't do it there are alot of people that do not shovel. Then in a big storm like this, when they use our shoveled spots because they did not shovel themselves it is pretty annoying. I know mountains are different because you are on your own land. I grew up in the mountains. City living is a bit different.
Sorry for my rant. First I could not get in my car from the store, never happened to me ever before then I see this shoveling issue and it is not that bad, usually, except this storm made it much harder because with this amount of snow it makes a bigger difference. When I shovel I make sure the walk in front of my house is shoveled first. I have trouble with cold from a very bad bout with pneumonia years ago, but I get out there in 15 min increments and get it done. Some of the neighbors don't shovel their front walks just their driveways. I was very nice to that gal and gave her the benefit of doubt but I did not get that back and it was annoying. Just clarifying. When you get a big storm you have to think a little bit about what you are doing. Most people do so all is good. And most that screw things up are not bad people. I was just annoyed yesterday. All better. You guys get more snow than we do.
1) If I see a cleared spot in front of a friend's neighbor's home, I'm thinking that they cleared it for a reason...and that reason likely isn't me!
2) If I need to park in that spot, I'll ask if I can and let 'em know how long I'll be there.
3) If need be, I'll shovel nearer my friends home so I can get a spot.
Them parking in a spot you cleared was laziness and rude...even if it was a public street! But that is my humble opinion...and I've been accused of being too logical.
