What is your favorite fruit? Poll

I like most fruit but it has to be the correct season.

I eat a lot of strawberries if the season is right I would say berries in general are my favorite

I had to pick 'other' because I love some of Elton John's music and he wasn't listed.

Good to see you post here again Viking! Up to this point I held back on responding to this thread, I was waiting for someone to post RuPaul or Richard Simmons... I guess VL will remain silent on this topic, probably hits a little too close to home.

Apples, hands down. Particularly Gala and Winesap, but you don't see winesap out here much. The only variety I avoid is yellow delicious--tough skin and too soft. I do like most fruits too. Blueberries and blackberries right off the bush are wonderful as are cherries and seckle pears--but I'm spoiled from having grown up in MD where you could find these fruits growing all over the place & just pick 'em & eat 'em. That stuff in the stores here? Not impressive.

I also like melons, particularly honeydew.
