Forecast fire danger for today was Extreme, for tomorrow Very High, ...

Red Flag Warning in place for today and tomorrow, forecast since about noon on Friday, with a Fire Weather Watch forecast at about 4:00 AM Friday...

Jeffco is under Stage 1 Fire Restrictions...

But, not a word on the VMS about fire danger, to alert those driving into the area, or those living in the area...

The fire sign near Roland Valley Drive today said 'Moderate', sounds like a reasonable time to have a campfire, doesn't it? ...

And we blame the 'flatlanders' for potential fire problems?

Really?

Maybe some officials should wake up, and get the word out?

Seems to me the means are available, but not being used.
