Thanks CG, just came in to post pix and story from Channel 9. Still putting up a lot of smoke.

IN NOVEMBER 2014, WE HAVE A GOLDEN OPPORTUNITY TO CLEAN OUT THE ENTIRE HOUSE AND ONE-THIRD OF THE SENATE! DONT BLOW IT!

“When white man find land, Indians running it, no taxes, no debt, plenty buffalo, plenty beaver, clean water. Women did all the work, Medicine man free. Indian man spend all day hunting and fishing; all night having sex. Only whit man dumb enough to think he could improve system like that.” Indian Chief Two Eagles

I was up on Mt. Evans at around 2:30 and the plume from there seemed pretty big. Looked like it was coming from the other side of Green Mountain so I beat it home as fast as I could which is no easy task for that trip. Nothing on the radio about it.

New post. Saying it may have been started by someone shooting a propane tank. 0% contained.

Nope. We (dogs & I) were actually on our way down the mountain near the Lincoln Lake overlook playing in a snow field. Some guy pointed out the smoke to his wife and said "Look you can see the smoke from Ft. Collins". I knew it was the wrong direction. But it looked a lot closer than Lake George. I got plenty of other pictures though.
