Have been doing a firewatch on the east side of Bailey, and we could see what looks like smoke over the peaks. Went to DSV and found this. Anyone on the Jefferson side seeing smoke? And how windy is it? We are calm for the moment but we have been seeing big wind gusts.

Description: Park County has a wildland fire 2 miles north of 11 Mile Reservoir. Smoke is visible in Teller County.

In the picture it seems like a lot more smoke than 2-4 acres would put up.

We heard reports of 100 acres. But pulled it because the paper had another report.

100 seems more accurate, but I understand waiting for confirmation. Those smoke clouds are so beautiful and so horrible.

This is going to be a long summer. Hopefully the monsoon rains come soon this year.
