I saw in the Denver Post today that people are going to have a buy-fest at the stores in Manitou Springs. Nice to see people helping out these businesses suffering an evacuation during their peak money season.

Just drove through CoSprngs on 25 a couple of hours ago. This fire is as bad as I've seen. You could see houses going up in flames from the interstate. Looked like the whole NW part of the city was being evac'd. Whole neighborhoods were aflame. I hope everyone got out...
The pictures are just horrific. I sincerely hope people are heeding the evacuation orders and everyone, critters included, made it out of there safely.
