Planing a 24" wide board

I was given 2 big slabs of pine from my inlaws, probably about 24" wide x 10' tall. Want to make it into something cool, but it is cupped from being improperly stored while curing. Does anyone know where I can take it to plane it down so I can use it for a counter, table, desk or something?

Planers more than 20" wide are rare- better start calling cabinet makers.

Make 'em into 12" wide boards and there will be less waste - and more planers around that could handle the job. After planing, you could always glue them back together if 24" is required. It shouldn't show much.

That was my original thought...I have a planer for a 12" board, but was hoping to avoid cutting it and glueing it back together. You are right though, it wouldn't show too much....

Kenosha doesnt do auctions at the old Reggies. They do them wherever. They need a lot of room for all those trucks in this auction coming up.

Here is their website

The auction at Bandimere will be in the parking lot closest to C470 on the west side. They are starting to accumulate the vehicles. Saw them as I passed by today.
