My neighbor, a Jeffco teacher, is telling people that her career is in danger. That the district will lay off 400 – 600 teachers if this doesn’t pass, just another scare tactic by her union. When we heard Laura Boggs speak her statement was that the bulk of this money would go to reinstating the furlough days and to PERA, very little if any goes to “the students”.

But keep in mind schools do need to be funded. However, throwing money at problems doesn't work either they need both money and common sense.
