The fabricator in the business section (Martin Ent.) got me thinking about my first car. A 1960 Rambler Classic, lime green and cost $100. I loved that the seats folded back into a bed, great for going to the beach and not needing a room.

1972 Satellite Sebring Blue with a white vinyl top.

1964 Ford Fairlane 500. My dad sold it to me for $500.

I hated that car.

My first new car was a 1968 Volkswagen Beetle (the year they changed the bumpers). It cost $1,700 new.

Mazda RX4 can't remember the year; it was used when I got it for $1,000 in 1978. Not a bad car till it started spewing black smoke from the rotary engine. Sold it and got a '62 jet-black VW Bug with red velvet (tufted) interior. Looked like a coffin inside (kinda creepy!), but it was all I could afford at the time.
