Hubby got me a green house for Xmas it is not huge 8 x 10 but it will be fun to garden again this year.
I am not planning on heating it but I did order some seeds the other day.
Have any of you used the hanging tomato plant bags (upside down)? I will be trying to utilize all the space I can so I was thinking of hanging a couple of these up over the lettuce and spinach.
We had a green house when we lived on Conifer Mountain (9800 feet) and I grew lots of things but will have to scale down a bit for this one.

Nice! If I had a flat piece of land to put it on,Iwould love to have one! I heada friend that used the hanging tomato bags for sweet 100s. She got tons of them!
I tried the hanging bags once, but nothing grew. I assumed it was user error lol (I had the darndest time getting it planted).

I tried the hanging bags and had absolutely no luck. the plastic disintegrated before the end of summer and the tomato plants rotted. It is way easier to plant determinate tomato plants or prune indeterminate plants to grow up a main support.
Good luck with your green house, and you are always welcome to come and visit and see mine.
Paca, I would love to come see yours and spend a few chatting!!!!
Our green house on Conifer Mountain wa huge it was soft sided and until the big snow (we got 7 1/2 feet) we had bumper crops with very little effort except watering.
This is little compared to the one we had there and we put raised beds on the sides and along the back.
We never had any luck with things like carrots, onions or garlic when we were at 9800 feet. carrots got no bigger than my finger and had a funny taste to them even the horses did not like them.
Gald to hear that maybe we don't want to do the tomatos they took up a lot of space and frankly we did not get enough of a crop to justify the hassle.

Determinate grow to a certain point/size and stay pretty compact
Indeterminate are like the energizer bunny. They just keep growing and growing. And can get out of control before you know it.
