Thank heavens she is fine. Very scary to roll over.

Wow, PF -- I drove by there on my way to Evergreen this morning and said a quick prayer for whomever had been in the vehicle. Glad she's ok.

73 was particularly nasty this morning from Barkley Road to the s-curves. Car behind me just past Marshdale spun out, nosed into the ditch, and was hit on the passenger side by the car behind them.

Just got back from Safeway. Very slick. Slide and ABS conditions even at parking lot speeds in the Safeway parking lot. The same at least until Pine Junction.

At least you are fairly safe in the Safeway parking lot...hardly anyone shops there!

Too bad future generations aren't here to see all the great things we are spending their $$ on!!

Didn't they have a 5 car pileup there during one of the recent storms?

We have posts on Facebook saying that it's so slick people are unable to get past Windy Point and are waiting for tow trucks, Evergreen just as bad. https://www.facebook.com/285Bound

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill

I'm so relieved your wife is safe. How frightening for her! I just wish all my family were safe home right now. Today has been awful.

The RTD bus that normally arrives in Aspen Park just before 5, just pulled in. The driver had to chain up before coming up 285.

MsMam and T just left my house about 15 minutes ago to head down to a hotel near the airport. Please keep them in your thoughts for a safe journey. But just for today - cuz they go on vacation tomorrow to a warm and sunny climate.
