it took me over 2 hrs to get home from the RRCC Arvada campus; from C470 all the way through Pine Junction and beyond 285 was a sheet of ice, multiple slide offs and no snow plow in sight. Be careful if you are still on your way home... right past Deer Creek Elementary the road got a lot better and hardly anything back towards my house.. .Be safe everyone!!!

You and I were on the road together. Left the Brook Forest Inn at 1:40 and got home at 4:30.
Drove into my driveway....looked at my dash and there they were....2 VERY important envelopes that had to be post marked today.....sigh....A trip to the Bailey post office.
The roads were horrible today. Tooo many accidents to list.
Stay warm tonight folks.
Doesn't it rain in April?

The hubby just got home and said it was getting a little better. Road crews have had some time to undo the damage now that the snow has slowed down.

In town, the surface streets seem to be in good shape but the highways are snowpacked.
First time this year I saw the big rigs chaining up at Denver West.
