It is slicker on the road at 30F than it is at 10F

That was Mrs. Photo-fish that rolled over at Foxton today. She is OK, but the Jeep is totaled. No plows were on the road at the time. Ice under the snow. She was in 4 wheel and just slid right off the road into the median. The cable guardrail stopped her from going into the other lane but I guess caused the roll-over.
Thanks to the folks who stopped and offered assistance.

Yikes! So glad she's okay PF. Sorry about the Jeep, I hope insurance treats you well.

I'm thinking it was a good idea to work from home rather than head up to the office today...

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

Wow - glad she is ok. I am glad I also decided to stay home today. D

I thought the cable rails were supposed to bounce you back from where you came. Do you think it would have been better to not have the cable in the middle? Do you think she would have just stopped in the median since the ground is probably somewhat soft?

Thanks.
2000 Cherokee with 220,000 miles and a full tank of gas. I'm gonna miss that gas. We'll be paying for the guardrail too.

I think she would have rolled either way. At least she did not go into oncoming traffic.
