Power is out big time

My advice (that you are welcome to ignore or embrace) is to light a candle or three and have a few adult beverages. Hope the power comes back on for you soon!

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

"Any man who thinks he can be happy and prosperous by letting the Government take care of him; better take a closer look at the American Indian." - Henry Ford

Corruptissima re publica plurimae leges; When the Republic is at its most corrupt the laws are most numerous. - Publius Cornelius Tacitus

Me and lil Precious got right in bed and watched two movies on her 4G, $2100 Tablet.."Jobs" and "Were the Millers"....I hate Ashton Kutcher, and intelectually We're the Millers isn't up to my standards, but they were better than nothing. I wanted to watch Stroker but she wanted a little lighter fare, so I succumbed

It is a bit different situation when you are house sitting in a relatively unfamiliar house. You have no clue where flashlights, candles, backup water, etc. might be.

Maybe something to think about when leaving the house to babysitters, etc., and think about giving them this kind of information.

Also might consider making sure that babysitters, etc. have a flashlight with them.

Good reminder jf1, thanks. I never think to tell my babysitter that kind of info, and it's probably too much to ask that my kids remember (though they are supposed to have flashlights of their own in their rooms).

All good baby sitters know where their candles and flashlights are at all times. They also feed children marshmallows for breakfast.
