Regarding Evergreen Sandbag Effort: My son was there and said that it has been turned into a military operation and they sent home all of the volunteers (80+). I think he was bummed to not be able to help, but I'm glad the National Guard is there to take charge.

Something is strange about the operation there, but I don't have all the details. The volunteers may be utilized to assist in Kittredge - the situation in unfolding as we 'speak'.
