Oysters of any kind, raw or Rocky Mountain. I won't come close to eating raw fish. Someone once told me that I would get worms if I ate raw fish and that was enough for me. :VeryScared:
Will not tolerate any kind of fungus. :youregoing: Not only do they overpower the food, but they have that particular sensation while on the tongue. The worst offender: Portobello burger!?!? No poo thriving growth can replace a finely grilled, ground cow sandwich.
While I'm at it...what's up with american style olives?
Like meats (muscle), not guts. I'll eat some sausage but won't touch brains, liver, stomach and so on. Agree on okra and lima beans. Never tried sushi or sushime, and hope never to.
Bugs that Orientals sprinkle on their rice.
Eyeballs.
Goat's heads eaten by Mexicans.
Sushi (anything raw is disgusting and unhealthy)
Worms (was a meat substitute back in the '70s)
Tripe (eaten as soul food)
tofu (is this food? or syrofoam?)
Uni - sea urchin. It's like eating snot: color, taste, smell, and texture wise (and I'm sure the sound of me choking it down wasn't pleasant either, so we hit 5 for 5 on every sense being a negative with one item - bonus!). Every other piece of sushi is deeee-lish, or at least edible. Don't knock it til you try it!
Any meat that contains gristle or lots of fat.
Liver - seriously, it's the septic plant of the body, the organ that purifies all toxins from the blood and lymph, why eat it?
Hot dogs
Spaghetti-Ohs and most other processed, canned foods/meals. Read the labels - don't start preserving your cells before you're dead.
Okra - impossible to fix it so it doesn't get slimy or taste bad
Casseroles - if I can't mix the food the way I like, or keep it separate, I can't do it.
All other veggies, fruits, and fungus send my way! mb, actually almost anything plant based eaten raw is WAY better for you - it's what we humans lived on for millennia and our digestive systems are programmed to handle.
"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther
The truth is incontrovertible. Malice may attack it. ignorance may deride it, but in the end, there it is. ~Winston Churchill
