Pending Snow & Cold Weather? About Time Or Not Wanting It?

Coming into work this morning it was unseasonably warm but it looks like we are about to get at least a week of below freezing highs and many inches of snow. So are you not liking this and would love to see the storm miss us or can't wait for winter to arrive?

I like snow but as I get older, I really start to hate the cold. So bring on the blizzards but I hope the polar express misses us.

What I love most about winter in Colorado is the snow. With bright blue clear warmer days following the storms. Not a week of below freezing, below zero temps.

I have to commute. Both snow and cold are a pain in my ass.

I felt different when work was closer and when I didn't have to drive to the office daily. I definitly felt different as a kid here in Colorado - snow was the greatest thing EVER!

Now I shovel it, Blow it, cuss at it, and never get to play in it.

Snow Day!
Or set up to "tele-commute"...

Went outside just now, and it's actually very nice. Filled birdfeeders, took out woodstove ash, swept out the garage, fun stuff like that.

I really like the snow, especially since I don't have to go out in it any more, but can do without the awful, bitter cold.

Bring on the snow. I could live with out the bitter cold. But a few days of it I can deal with. Not the weeks and months straight like I grew up with in Wisconsin.

Ed Greene last night said it will be the coldest temps Denver has seen in ten years.
Wow. A whole generation of kids who haven't seen temps this frigid.

Parade of Lights on Friday? Should limit attendance.

And how cold will the Bronco game be? Has Peyton learned how to play in below freezing temps?

Lovely day to be outside getting everything ready for cold and snow. Bring it on. Cold snap to kill the beetles, it will have to be a long one, and ticks if cold affects them, IDK.

I did love how nice it was this morning while I was preparing for the storm.

I would have chosen other...love the snow, but not driving in it. Like the cold--it is much better than summers in San Antonio TX--a day or two of really cold is OK.

Wind combined with either or both isn't my cup of tea, though.
