You should be good, I am. Sitting on the couch looking out the window I see at least a foot of snow on everything. I went outside prepared to do some serious shoveling. On our cement sidewalk and gravel driveway there is almost no accumulation. I just need to broom off the car and all is well.
I sure wish ours was melting, so far we managed a small path up the driveway for the pups since the snow is over their heads, they bounce through it OK, but get pretty tired out. Our driveways are blacktop but are not melting yet.
We had already taken the plow off the ATV so we are going to let mother nature take care of this. Where hubby drove on the driveway (dirt) it is clear of snow now.
I'm absolutely delighted with the snow we got. Measurable 12" and that's after melting while snowing. And the roads today were a piece of cake. This is the kind of storm I like.
The snow really confused the wildlife...a small herd of Elk visited Fairplay last night...looking for grazing grass they could get to...just steps from my house. Then this morning coming down the north side of Hoosier Pass I saw a bear crossing the road--he (or she) didn't look too happy that there was fresh snow to run through! Fairplay saw over a foot Saturday night through Monday morning at about 7 am...well, that was what I cleared off my vehicle, anyways. I'm ready for sunshine!
SNOWING.....lightly and overcast grey......My vitamin D dosage needs bumping up....seriously,
NO sun for several days is NOT the Colorado I know and love..... :faint:
