Mountain Resource Center Bowl Painting Party September 7th, 5pm

01 Sep 2016 12:09 #1 by MountainResourceCenter

Mountain Resource Center’s (MRC) Mountain Bowls Project signature fundraisers are just around the corner and the community is gathering together to paint bowls for us; these bowls are given out as gifts to our event participants and are a reminder of 'those in need'. Our bowl partners, Go Paint! Evergreen and Alice Pierson with River Canyon Gallery are already stocked up with bowls to be painted for our events.

There are number of ways you can participate and support Mountain Resource Center. Call or email Go Paint! Evergreen or River Canyon Gallery to schedule a bowl painting party; the last firing will be on October 9, 2016 – so get your bowls painted prior to October 9th. If you are not able to host or attend a scheduled Bowl Painting party there are other ways you can help:
  • Small groups (4 or less) are welcome to stop by Go Paint! Evergreen during their normal business hours and let them know you are painting a Bowl for Mountain Resource Center
  • You can attend Mountain Resource Center’s Bowl Painting Party on September 7, 2016 at 5:00PM; 11030 Kitty Drive (reservations appreciated so we know how many bowls to have on hand. Contact Kristina at

).
  • You can host a home party by scheduling with either Go Paint! Evergreen or River Canyon; and you will be supplied with the paints, glazes, and necessary tools to complete your bowls.
The cost of bowls to support Mountain Resource Center is $10 at Go Paint!, and $12 at River Canyon Gallery (high temperature firing).

Mountain Resource Center’s Mountain Bowls Project is a wonderful opportunity to support MRC’s mission and vision of Neighbors Helping Neighbors. The events feature specialty soups prepared by local area restaurants and auctions which is perfect timing for holiday shopping.
